Webinar: Introduction to useful concepts for your projects with refugee population

The University of Barcelona is pleased to invite you to the first webinar of the inHERE project (Higher Education Supporting Refugees in Europe), titled “Introduction to useful concepts for your projects with refugee population”, which will take place on October 4, 2017, at 4.15 pm (CET). The webinar speakers will be Dr. Andreu Oresti and Dr. Georgios Milios, professors at the Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona.

The purpose of the webinar is to clarify some ideas regarding legal and social concepts such as refugee, asylum seeker, migrant, asylum, etc., as the proper understanding of these concepts is essential to work with this group of people and to manage the implications of projects and activities.

The free event, which will be conducted in English, is addressed to members of University communities (professors, administrative and service staff [AdSS], technical staff…) who are running or are planning to run projects or activities to facilitate the access of refugees to HEI, their social integration…, as well as to all the University public interested in these initiatives.
