CONFERENCE: HUMANISM IN ARABIC CULTURE

The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), in collaboration with the National Lebanese Commission for UNESCO, is organizing a conference entitled: “Humanism in Arabic Culture”.

This event, hosted by the Office of the Deputy President for Cultural Affairs, will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. in Jean El Hawa Auditorium.

ARBITRATION SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP BY ESTEEMED ARBITRATOR, PROF. DR. STEPHAN KROLL

The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), in collaboration with the International Chamber of Commerce’s Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF), is organizing a seminar entitled: “Nuts and Bolts of International Arbitration – Costs issues in arbitration: How to avoid cost and how to decide upon them”, followed by a workshop in two parts by internationally operating arbitrator, Prof. Dr. Stephan Kroll, entitled: “International Sales Transactions under the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods”.

This event, hosted by the Faculty of Law, will take place over two days on October 23-24, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., and 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Jean El Hawa Auditorium and the Philosophy Auditorium.
