Tunisia : 1st Training of Trainers Workshop on Strategic Analysis and Performance Framework

In the framework of the SAGESSE project, after the analysis and the state of the art on the governance system of Tunisian universities, training and training of trainers’ activities are planned for the capacity building of the internal staff of Tunisian universities in quality assurance and strategic planning.

This workshop will be held in Tunis from April 3 to 5, 2019 to identify priorities, strategic objectives and indicators of the universities’ performance, and to equip participants with the techniques to reproduce the same approach in the context of management of the institutions under protection.

The workshop is coordinated by University of Sousse, Sapienza University of Rome, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) and the National Instance of Evaluation, Quality Assurance and of Accreditation (IEAQA).

These training activities are intended for university representatives (academic affairs officers, scientific research managers, secretary general / DAF and statistics officers / observatory).

To this end, from 3 to 7 December 2018, a basic training course was held at the University of Siena to strengthen the capacity of internal staff of Tunisian universities on several complementary topics, addressed by trainers and experts recognized in their field. areas of expertise. Knowledge transfer has been achieved mainly through front-end didactics and comparative analysis of case studies, in particular practical exercises and group work have been conducted to stimulate an inductive approach.
