On the 29th November 2018, Forum Réfugiés – Cosi, a non-lucrative association working for the reception of refugees and promoting their rights, has presented the “Call to action to expand legal and safe complementary pathways to respond to international protection needs“.
The Call has been presented in the frame of the Final Conference of the Working Group on Complementary Pathways for Refugees and has received the full support of UNIMED that is also among the signatories of the appeal.
The working group invites civil society organizations to support the common document, which advocates for a State action. In fact, this document elaborated following meetings and discussions among the working group, calls States to take steps towards expanding access to complementary pathways to respond to international protection needs.
