On the 6th and 7th November 2019 the ETF conference titled “Skills and qualifications – benefits for people” has been held in Turin. On this occasion, UNIMED has been represented by his Director, Mr. Marcello Scalisi.
The meeting aimed at gathering ETF partner countries on reforms and modernisation of their qualification systems and curricula, learning and teaching, information about skills and qualifications and career guidance, to maximise the benefits and overcome the obstacles in communication and dialogue about skills and qualifications among different actors in the partner countries.
The new ETF toolkit and publication “Skills and qualifications – benefits for people” has been presented and discussed at this meeting.
How do people know about skills and qualifications? What types of skills and qualifications do they need? And how do people acquire them? How do countries need to change curricula, teaching and learning and guidance, so that people can benefit more from skills and qualifications? What new practices and tools need to be developed?
These are just some of the core questions faced on the occasion of the event.
