UNIMED TEMPUS MEDTRA PROJECT results presented in Damascus. |
Within the Vth Syrian TEMPUS Info day, FROM USEFULNESS TO COMPREHENSIVENESS”, held in Damascus on 2010 February 7th , cared by Syrian TEMPUS NTO, prof. Rami Ayoubi, at the presence of H.E. Mr. Vassilis Bontosoglou, Head of the Delegation of the European Commission to Syria, and H.E. Dr. Ghias Barakat, Syrian Minister of Higher Education, prof. Hyam Bashour from Damascus University, Coordinator of the project TEMPUS MEDTRA - Occupational Medicine training course , illustrates the project outcomes in terms of achieved results and lessons learnt.
The project is presented in the fourth panel of the conference, Practices, cooperation and priorities.
Like in the Italian TEMPUS info-day, organized by CRUI Foundation, (Italian Conference of the University Rectors) last January 25th 2010, TEMPUS MEDTRA project is considered an example of best practices in terms of safety and security on workplaces and euro-Mediterranean cooperation between Rome “La Sapienza “ and Malta University, and three Syrian universities of Aleppo Damascus and Homs Al Baath, the Syrian Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
