Université Paris 8: Euro-Mediterranean inter-university networks meeting |

The University Paris 8 hosted a meeting on 6 July 2010 among representatives of Euro-Mediterranean university networks to discuss about possible ways to further strengthen the regional cooperation in the field of higher education and research.
Several personalities from the Mediterranean area took part in the event, among others Prof. Pascal Binczak, Rector of Université Paris 8, Prof. Franco Rizzi, Secretary General of the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED), Prof. Enric Olivé-Serret, Secretary General of the Euro-Mediterranean University Forum (EPUF), Prof. Joseph Mifsud, President of Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI), Madam Michèle Gendreau-Massaloux, Honorary Member of the Council of State of France, responsible for training, higher education and research of the French delegation of the Union for the Mediterranean.
