Third Call for Proposals under the "Tempus IV" Programme |
On 01 of December EACEA, The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission has launched the 3rd Call for Proposal of the Tempus Programme.
Tempus is the European Union’s Programme which supports the modernisation of higher education in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region, mainly through university cooperation projects. It also aims to promote voluntary convergence of Partner Country higher education systems with EU developments in the field of higher education such as the Lisbon agenda and the Bologna process.
Tempus provides support to consortia of institutions composed mainly of universities or universities associations. Non-academic partners can also be part of a consortium.
The overall indicative budget of the third Call is of 53,8 Mlns Euro.
The Call finances two types of Actions in the form of national or multinational projects:
- Joint Projects
- Structural Measures
The deadline for the submission of project proposals is 9 March 2010.
