Internships to the European Institutions are generally reserved to European citizens or to candidates countries citizens.

Here following are listed the main Institutions where carrying out the internships for students.

 

Council of the European Union

  • Who can apply:third, fourth or fifth year university students who have to undertake a compulsory training as part of their studies or to do research for a thesis or doctorate
  • Duration: 2-5 months
  • Where: Brussels

  • Who can apply: Students specialising in economics, finance, statistics, business administration, law, human resources or translation with at least a Bachelor’s degree, including PhD students
  • Duration: 3-12 months
  • Where: Frankfurt am Main

European Commission (Joint Research Centre)

  • Who can apply: students preparing an undergraduate, Master’s or PhD
  • Duration: 3-5 months
  • Where: Ispra (Italy), Karlsruhe (Germany), Geel (Belgium), Petten (The Netherlands) or Sevilla (Spain)

  • Who can apply: students who either hold a recognized university-level diploma or who have completed at least four semesters of university study in an area of interest to the Court (Audit / Budget, Accounting / Administration, human resources / Translation / Communication, international relations / Legal)
  • Duration: maximum 5 months
  • Where: Luxembourg
