The application process for admission to the Joint Professional Master Course in Cross-Media Journalism is now open!
The Professional Master Course has been designed internationally and it is offered jointly by IPSI, University of Sousse and University of Sfax, in cooperation with the Sfax Section of National Syndicate of Tunisian Journalists and EU institutions UNIMED, IULM, UTA, UB in the framework of the Tempus eMEDia project.
The Professional Master Course will start on October 5, 2015 and lasts 2 academic years, corresponding to 120 ECTS. The programme is specifically tailored for graduates who are interested in acquiring the competences to integrate traditional instruments of journalism and innovative instruments of digital journalism, focusing on the local community and with global interests.
Examples of occupational profiles of graduates are: professional journalists, new media experts and social media curators.
Renowned professors from Tunisia are part of the course distinguished academic staff, whose members are internationally-minded and have generally a long experience as field-researchers or in situ professionals. Coordinators are Moncef Ben Abdeljelil, Dean of the faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Sousse, Hela Ben Ali, Head of Journalism Department at IPSI, University La Manouba and Abdelwahed Mokni, Vice President of the University of Sfax.

eMEDia aims at contributing to the modernisation of the Higher Education sector in Tunisia through a bottom-up approach for the design and pilot of a first level professional Master Course in Cross-Media Journalism. It is an institutional cooperation project co-funded by an European Commission grant under the Tempus IV programme between December 2013 and November 2016.
