SAGESSE as “good practice” at the event organised by the EU Delegation in Tunisia

As part of the EU4YOUTH event organized by the Delegation of the European Union in Tunis on November 27, 2019, UNIMED presented the SAGESSE project, “Improving Governance in the Higher Education System in Tunisia”, as “good practice” among structural projects with Tunisian universities and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in Tunisia.

It was a very important opportunity for the project and the whole partnership, coordinated by UNIMED as part of the capacity building projects of the Erasmus Plus programme, which started in October 2017 and which is in the third year of its implementation.

The SAGESSE project, “Improving Governance in the Higher Education System in Tunisia”, which aims to modernize the higher education system in Tunisia by strengthening its quality assurance system, governance mechanisms and funding based on results, brings together for the first time the thirteen Tunisian public universities, with the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the National Authority for Evaluation, Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Tunisia and with European universities from Italy (University of Siena, Sapienza University of Rome), CESIE (Center for European Studies and Research), France (University of Paris1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and Spain (University of Barcelona).
