In the framework of the project ICMED, International Credit Mobility: a New Challenge in the Mediterranean Region, a training of trainers took place on Febraury 25, 2020 in Algeria hosted by the University of Science and Technology of Oran – Mohamed Boudiaf at the Plaza Hotel.
On this occasion some key topics were covered and among them the effective cooperation between EU and Partner countries towards a successful application; instruments and services for ICM, from the selection process to the information policy and the mobility management, best practices and practical exercises; Recognition Mechanisms and instruments within ICM.
The training of trainers represented an opportunity for participants to strengthen their skills in the management of international mobility programs. In particular the Universities trained during previous training weeks organized in the framework of the project activities – Universities of Oran, Biskra, Monastir and Gafsa acted as trainers for the participants attending the event in collaboration with the Universities of Padova, Granada, Poitiers and Iasi. Several universities from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia participated in the training.
Among the universities of the UNIMED network participating in the training, we can mention from Tunisia, the University of Tunis El Manar, Kairouan, Sfax, Sousse, Carthage, La Manouba, Monastir, Gafsa and the Virtual University of Tunis; from Algeria the Universities of Algiers 1, Mohamed Lamine Debaghine Setif 2 University, the University Frères Mentouri Constantine 1, the University of El Oued and the Mohamed Khider of Biskra and from Morocco the Agronomy and Veterinary Science Institute “Hassan II” – Rabat.
