The CMI organises the “Internationalization of Tertiary Education in MENA in the COVID-19 Context” / January 28th

The Center for Mediterranean Integration (CMI) is organizing a virtual event on “The internationalization of tertiary education in MENA in the COVID-19 context”, which will take place on Thursday, 28 January 2021, and will be co-organized by the CMI, the Qatar Foundation and in partnership with the Tethys Euro-Mediterranean Universities Network.

The objective of this event is to stimulate regional policy dialogue on internationalization, a critical tool especially in the current context of health crisis, based on the conclusions of the CMI / World Bank report “Internationalization of tertiary education in the MENA region”.

The discussions will also be based on testimonies from representatives of universities in the region who will have the opportunity to present their internationalization strategies and the responses they have developed to meet the challenges engendered by the COVID-19 crisis.

If you are interested in this event, to participate or to share your experience, we invite you to contact Ms. Giulia Marchesini at gmarchesini@worldbank.org
