IULM University will host students from La Manouba – IPSI, Sousse and Sfax universities for the Summer School of the Master program in Cross-Media Journalism. The joint master is organized by the three Tunisian universities in cooperation with IULM, Tampere University , the University of Barcelona and the Sfax Section of the National Syndicate of the Tunisian Journalists in the framework of the Tempus funded Project eMEDia, led by UNIMED.
According to the defined program, the summer school focuses on three main aspects:
1. Video-making for Journalism,
2. Data Visualization and Storytelling,
3. Photoshop for Journalism.
The program is inspired by the belief that only a mixed approach – dealing with both analytical and operational skills – can provide students with the ideal background for working in the field of journalism, communication and cross-media.
On September 22, 2016 IULM University will also host the Open Day of the Master in Cross-Media Journalism which will be an occasion to share the results of the eMEDia program and the didactic plan for the second year of the Master.
