The Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange is fully operational

10 July 2018
Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange is a ground-breaking project enabling youth in Europe and the Southern Mediterranean to engage in meaningful intercultural experiences online as part of their formal or non-formal education. There are several activities available for universities in Europe and the Southern Mediterranean to involve students and staff in virtual exchange and thus enhance their internationalization-at-home strategies.

Six months after its launch, the project and all its activities are fully operational, with an increasing number of professors and students taking part in Virtual Exchange experiences from a number of European and South Mediterranean countries. Specifically, among the South Mediterranean region, participants come mostly from Jordan, Tunisia and Morocco, while other countries are starting to participate. All in all, students and professors that are taking part in the activities are finding them extremely inspiring and useful.
All information about the project and its activities is on the European Commission website https://europa.eu/youth/erasmusvirtual. Participating is simple and totally free of charge: once you have decided which activity suits you or your organisation/institution best, you can express your interest by filling the forms available for each activity, and you will be contacted by the activity organisers regarding the registration process.
