The PELIARQ project is launching the event “European-Levantine Internationalisation and Automatic Recognition of Qualifications“ to present the main project results. The event is scheduled for May 25th, from 11:00am to 1:00pm CET.
Strategic internationalisation activities are the cornerstone of a world class higher education system. European universities must be at the forefront of internationalisation to deliver exceptional higher education opportunities for their students and the opportunities for staff to develop ground-breaking research. At the same time, the ability to understand international education systems and qualifications frameworks is a crucial enabler for universities looking to recruit the best students and staff from around the world.
The PELIARQ consortium has developed the “Guidance toolkit for internationalisation opportunities in the Levant” and the “Guidance on Levantine qualifications, qualification frameworks and credit systems”, presenting education systems and qualification framework in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. The online event will present the reports, and explore the constraints and opportunities of the internationalisation opportunities with the Levant region, with the aim to generate networking opportunities for European Higher Education Institutions in Europe and in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
Target Audience
The online event will be of interest to European international relations office staff, officers in charge of internationalisation, as well as top management at EU HEIs, senior staff with internationalisation roles, and anyone interested in exploring the opportunities of internationalisation in Lebanon, Jordan and Syria.
