In the framework of the SAGESSE project and in particular the work concerning the modernization of the communication and information system with the use of ICTs and the development of a e-administration unit for a good financial and technical management, 33 directors and deputy directors on financial management and information systems managers of the 13 Tunisian universities, together with the Ministry and IEAQA (National Tunisian Agency on Quality Assurance and Accreditation) will travel from 10 to 15 November to Rome and Paris to take part in two field visits at the University Sapienza of Rome and at the University Paris1 Panthéon -Sorbonne, which will focus on governance and data management of the information system.
In particular the field visit in Rome will focus to transfer the know-how and good practices of Sapienza University to the Tunisian university staff with regards the data management and information system applied to student’s management, to teaching, research and internalization sectors.
The idea of these two field visits is to present the case of the two European universities, such as the Italian case of Sapienza University and the French case of University Paris1 Panthéon -Sorbonne, focusing on the aspects of the implementation of the strategies and the management problems encountered, as well as the institutional mechanisms to solve them in the sector of information and communication system.
The field visit in Rome will foresee also a technical visit of the InfoSapienza Center – Programming and technological development center finalized in support of ICT – Information and Communication Technologies and to the headquarters of LazioDiSCo – Institution for the right to education and the promotion of knowledge in the Lazio Region.
In addition to that, in Paris the Tunisian staff will visit know about the digital strategy of Campus Condorcet, responsible for the digital center of the Campus and will also have a visit at the premises of the Ministry of Higher Education, Directorate General of Higher Education and Employment in France to learn from them about the ministerial strategy on the information systems in the context of university autonomy.

The results of these trainings and field visits will be integrated to the one that the SAGESSE group has already performed in Barcelona and will follow a “cascade” effect in the institutions themselves through local training workshops that will be developed directly by the beneficiaries of the training.
