The two-week event of the 5th Edition of our UNIMED Week in Brussels has concluded.
The UNIMED WEEK, exceptionally held online from June 15 to 26, 2020, has been a great success in terms of participation and active collaboration. More than 500 participants from more than 30 countries took part in the event and animated the debate on our Mediterranean community.
We had the chance to meet the European Commission Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) and for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) and learn about the next programming phase and about the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and EU-Africa cooperation framework in higher education.
Many topics have been addressed thanks to the contribution of the members of UNIMED SubNetworks on Mobility and Intercultural dialogue, on eLearning and Open Education, on Employability and of our Institutional Partners as ALF, ESN, ETF, FAO, UfM.
In this edition we have presented and discussed the UNIMED Initiative Libya Restart, a two years work accomplished together with Libyan Universities, whose results are collected in the report you can find here.
Together, with you, we have achieved a very fruitful event despite all the distances!
If you were not able to join, you can also view all the recordings here.
If you want to have a look at the full report, you can find it here.
We look forward to meeting you – and hopefully in person – in the next UNIMED events!
