UNIMED Twitter Chat #1 Present and Future of Euro-Med Academic Cooperation

Come and join us for the first UNIMED Twitter Chat!

20 May 2021

12:15 pm – 1:00 pm

This year, UNIMED celebrates its 30 years as an advocate for academic cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean region. Considering the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, we would like to (virtually) invite you to join us in the celebrations by participating in our first UNIMED twitter chat dedicated to the present and future of Euro-Mediterranean academic cooperation.

A Twitter chat is a topical conversation planned and organized on Twitter. If you want to participate, nothing easier, you just have to have a Twitter account! Connect on the UNIMED Twitter page here on 20 May at 12:15 pm CET and engage in the discussion by adding the hashtag of the event #UNIMEDchats to all your posts. Three questions will be posted using the indication Q1 (for question 1), Q2 (for question 2), Q3 (for question 3). When answering make sure to indicate to which question you are answering by writting A1 (for answer to question 1), A2 (answer to question 2), A3 (answer to question 3) in your posts.

UNIMED was founded in 1991 by Professor Franco Rizzi who saw the need to strengthen the research and education in the Euro-Mediterranean area in order to contribute to scientific, cultural, social and economic cooperation. Currently, it counts 138 universities from 23 countries of the Mediterranean basin. UNIMED is continuously working with the Higher Education Institutions of the Mediterranean region to boost the Euro-Mediterranean dimension of academic cooperation, and enhance institutional, economic, cultural and social cohesion in the area.

We count on your participation! Together, let’s celebrate UNIMED, let’s celebrate Euro-Mediterranean cooperation, let’s celebrate our Mediterranean region.
