Unlocking systemic innovation excellence through University-Business Cooperation: a reflection paper on innovation

Innovation has been at the core of the EU policies for many years and it is currently present in the ‘Agenda for Europe’ announced by the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen “to tackle the key challenges facing Europe”.

Unlocking systemic innovation excellence through UBC is a reflection paper on innovation recently produced for DG EAC (Education and Culture) of the European Commission in the context of the EU University-Business Cooperation (UBC) Network.

It highlights the many different approaches that can be taken to unlock systemic innovation and excellence through UBC. Frameworks, methods and practical tools exist, developed by researchers and in EU-funded projects. These can often form the backbone to make the shift from project-based initiatives to sustainable systemic approaches for long term impact.

The paper is available here.
