Exploring remote work for professional development – 22 May 2023 5:00 pm-6:30 pm CET


This seminar aims to provide a comprehensive reflection on the significance of professional development opportunities for university graduates via remote work, which has gained significant prominence in recent years. The session will feature a presentation on the Tenerife Work & Play platform, which seeks to attract digital talent to the island and establish a network of digital nomads. Additionally, some of the noteworthy outcomes of the ON-IT Project will also be showcased during the seminar.

Target audience:
The webinar will be of interest to all actors involved in promoting and organising online internships (students, academic tutors, company tutors, administrative staff) and anyone interested in remote working for professional development.

The seminar will be held in English in a hybrid format, and will also be live-streamed.

About ON-IT
The ON-IT project aims to develop a guidance framework and practical tools to design and implement quality online tourism internships in higher education. By actively engaging all actors involved in the internship experience, the ON-IT project focuses on equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to face the challenges of digital transformation in the labour market.
