The Kick-Off Meeting for the ERASMUS + Capacity Building in Higher Education project EuNIT “European project desigN and management In the South MediTerranean region” coordinated by the Euro-Mediterranean Universities Network TETHYS, Aix-Marseille University, will take place on the 30th and 31st January, 2017 at the Villa Valmer in Marseilles, France.
This project, funded by the European Commission for a 3-year period (October 2016 – October 2019), aims to address the priority of the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in countries in the South Mediterranean Region focusing on Jordan, Lebanon and Libya.
The Kick-Off meeting will be opened with speeches from Mr. Jean Roatta, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Relations and Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation, Ville de Marseille, Mrs Sylvie Daviet, Vice President in charge of International Relations, Aix-Marseille University and Mr. Michel Autric, President of the Euro-Mediterranean Universities Network TETHYS, Aix-Marseille University.
At this occasion, the partnership of 22 universities and associations from 7 Mediterranean countries (Croatia, France, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Spain) will have the opportunity to discuss the implementation of the project activities in order to train university personnel to become specialist trainers in European project design and management.
