As part of the GIZ-funded initiative on Reinforcing the Innovation-Employability Nexus in the Mediterranean, the Union for the Mediterranean is offering a two-part training in English:
Building Strategic Academia-Industry Partnerships
The course will look at strategic partnerships through the lens of the “Triple Helix” framework, examining the roles of academia, industry, and governments. Participants develop their own case in groups and a systematic strategy for developing, operationalising, and sustaining partnerships in their own organisations.
Target participants: representatives from academia, business, governments and intermediary institutions (accelerators, networks, internship offices…).
The course will have two live online class sessions:
● 1 September 2021 from 11:00 to 13:00 hrs CET
● 13 September 2021 from 11:00 to 13:00 hrs CET
Beyond the two class sessions, participants will be expected to invest an additional 18 hours into preparing for the first session and group work in between the two online sessions.
