Staff training workshops in Jordan on ICT in Higher Education

Under the umbrella of the JOVITAL project, a series of staff training workshops will be conducted in Jordan on topics related to the use of ICT in Higher Education and academic exchange using virtual mobility.

The first day-long training will be delivered first in Amman (on February 25th) and later in Tafila (on February 27th), by Prof. Dr. Dušan Lesjak, professor of Management Information Systems and Management of Education at ISSBS (Slovenia). His areas of expertise are e-business, e-learning and management and financing of higher education. 

The training will be delivered at:

  • Princess Sumaya University for Technology (Amman): 25 February 2020, at 8.30-16.30
  • Tafila Technical University (Tafila): 27 February 2020, 8.30-16.30

Staff from across all subjects are welcome to join the training. The staff training will give the participants an overview on the topics important to foster the use of ICT in higher education, such as digital literacy, impact of e-learning in HE, internationalization of HE enabled by ICT tools . Participants will gain knowledge that will reinforce cooperation among Jordanian universities, and within the international network of the teachers.
