Mobility between Tunisia and Italy: 42 new exchanges in two years

(Rome, 26 July, 2019) 42 international exchanges have been carried out among Italian and Tunisian Universities, in the framework of the International Credit Mobility project COMMO III, co-funded by the European Commission and part of the KA107 of the Erasmus+ Programme.

Students, Professors and International Relations officers have exchanged experiences and expertise with their peers abroad and in Italy, in particular the 17 mobilities have been hosted in Tunisia and 25 in Italy: the universites participated in these exchanges have been the Tunisian universities of Tunis, Tunis El Manar, Carthage, Sfax and Sousse and the Italian universities of Sapienza University of RomeUniversity of Urbino “Carlo Bo”, IULM – Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione, University for Foreigners of Perugia, the On-line University of Pegaso, University of Messina, University of Sassari, University of Palermo, University of Catania, University of Bologna and the University of Bari.

Through the mobility and the experiences exchanged within COMMO, its members improved their skills in managing international relations and their related issues. Indeed, all of them benefitted from the “knowledge sharing” by hosting and sending students, professors, International Relations officers.

Furthermore, the project has also encouraged the development of international and institutional networking between Tunisian and Italian universities. Finally, all universities involved in the activities have established new long-term collaborations.

COMMO is a consortium of several Italian universities and coordinated by UNIMED.
