As per UNESCO definition, “Biosphere Reserves are ‘learning places for sustainable development’. They are sites for testing interdisciplinary approaches to understanding and managing changes and interactions between social and ecological systems, including conflict prevention and management of biodiversity. They are places that provide local solutions to global challenges.”
On January 31st, 2022 (10 am – 12:15 pm CET) the partners of the Edu-BioMed project will present several tools for education and research in the field of inquiry that have been produced throughout the lifetime of the project.
Edu-BioMed is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project that aims to strengthen, improve and foster Education and Research in & on Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves.
This webinar is meant to present such instruments and further discuss the importance of the exchanges among Universities and Biosphere Reserves.
