A call for application in the framework of the Youth Economic Research Forum has just been launched!

This pilot initiative is a World Bank project implemented in Libya by the Luiss Mediterranean Platform, in partnership with UNIMED

The project’s main objective is to provide an inclusive platform for young Libyans to think about and contribute to the discussion of Libya’s economic development potential. The project will begin building a network of researchers which could be consulted by the World Bank on issues relating to the Libyan economy. A group of young people will be selected among UNIMED Libyan universities to participate in a series of training and finally realize a report of the policy dialogue discussions and their implications.

You will find the call for application here in English and here in Arabic. This call is open to applicants from the Peace Makers Libya’s Youth Platform and all UNIMED-associated universities in Libya.

The deadline is the 16th of July and all applications will be evaluated by a Selection committee.

For more information about this initiative, an informative session will be organized on Tuesday 2nd of July, from 11.00 to 12.00 CEST. If you are interested in joining, please contact Anne-Laurence Pastorini (al.pastorini@uni-med.net) and Martina Zipoli (m.zipoli@uni-med.net
