The eMEDia Summer School has ended: the Tunisian students’ perspective!

The Summer School of the eMEDia Master Course in cross-media journalism, hosted by the University of Languages and Media in Milan, saw the participation of 34 Tunisian students from the Faculties of Arts and Humanities of Sousse and Sfax and from the Institute of Press and Information Sciences (IPSI).

The Summer School has been organised in the framework of the eMEDia project, an institutional cooperation project co-funded by the European Union under the Tempus IV program, led by UNIMED and in cooperation with the above mentioned three Tunisian universities together with IULM, Tampere University , the University of Barcelona and the Sfax Section of the National Syndicate of the Tunisian Journalists.

The Tunisian students have attended different courses related to cross-media journalism from the 13 to the 24 of September, 2016 from Video-making for Journalism to Data Visualization and Storytelling and to Photoshop for Journalism.

The event was crowned with an Open Day, which was the opportunity to share the results of the eMEDia project and the didactic plan for the second year of the Master.
