40 participants from the 12 Algerian partners of ESAGOV project finally made their study visits to European partners, namely the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and the University of Rouen-Normandie, from November 8th to 18th. These study visits were an opportunity for the partners to deepen some aspects of the definition of the strategic plan, monitoring tools and methodologies, but also to debate about the role of students in the quality evaluation process, the link between universities and the socio-economic environment, as well as the performance contracts between the ministry and the universities. The concern to make the strategic plan a management tool as adaptable and measurable as possible, being shared for both the European partners and the Algerian partners, the exchanges were fruitful and enriching for everyone.
Algerian colleagues are now finalizing the overall internal process of their strategic plan revision, which will be presented during the final conference, in Algiers, on the 10 th of January.
