The University of Siena hosts the public session on cooperation with Tunisian universities
The University of Siena is about to host a public session on Wednesday, December 5th «University governance, academic training, research and mobility: the University of Siena presents itself to Tunisian universities».
The event will be held during the training week for the staff of the Tunisian universities partners of the SAGESSE project. The project, in which the University of Siena is participating as partner and coordinated by UNIMED – Mediterranean Universities Union, aims to modernize the higher education system in Tunisia by strengthening its quality assurance system as well as the governance mechanisms and result based funding.
The SAGESSE project is a valuable experience of cooperation between Tunisia and the University of Siena and represents an opportunity to deepen relations between the two Mediterranean countries.
With this in mind, the session is aimed at consolidating cooperation with Tunisian universities, strongly represented in the UNIMED network with the University of Siena. The meeting will allow participants toknow more about the activities that UNIMED carries out in collaboration with Tunisia and to know the academic offer of the University of Siena, with particular regard to cooperation with Tunisia. Furthermore the event seeks to offer an opportunity for dialogue and debate in view of future collaborations between the institutions of the two countries.
The event will take place on Wednesday 5th December 2018 in the Aula Magna Storica of the Rectorate of the University of Siena from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
