The Mediterranean Mobility Forum marks the closing of the Urban Transports Community after six years of work and proposes a unique space to showcase and capitalise the results of the project, including a selection of the most relevant products and deliverables the project has produced.
The final event will be a space to mainstream and disseminate the key messages deriving from the community’s experience and work during the last three years of transferring and capitalisation. The event will tackle topics such as the enabling factors of an active mobility culture in our cities, sustainable mobility planning in tourist areas, e-mobility deployment in Mediterranean cities and the role of urban transport regarding the extreme climate change effects in the region.
Discussions will look into the future of the MED area and EU policies on sustainable mobility affecting the region, including the Euro-MED programme and will seek new synergies with initiatives in the field of sustainability and low carbon mobility in the MED area and pave the way for future endeavours.
