Prof. Azzedine El Midaoui – former President of the University Ibn Tofail of Kenitra – is the new Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.

Since 2014, Azzedine El Midaoui has held the position of president of Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra. In 2018, he was elected president of the Conference of Presidents of Moroccan Universities, thus helping to coordinate the activities and strategic priorities of Moroccan universities. He has also been a member of the High Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research since 2015. Source

The University Ibn Tofail of Kenitra became UNIMED member during his mandate as the University President.
