Recovering Illicit Proceeds in the Era of AI provides a comprehensive introduction to the interplay between anti-money laundering efforts, asset recovery, and the advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Designed for a broad audience, such as the general public, journalists, local authorities, and students, the course aims to enhance understanding of these critical areas and their interconnections.
No prior expertise is required, and with Dr. Georgios Pavlidis – Associate Professor -, UNESCO Chairs & Jean Monnet Chair, School of Law, NUP Cyprus, users will learn:
- The interplay between AI and financial crime
- The fundamentals of anti-money laundering (AML) and asset recovery
- How AI-driven tools are shaping financial investigations
The course is supported by the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence AI-2-TRACE-CRIME and it is co-funded by the European Union.
