Siviglia, marzo 5-6, 2014: Kick-off meeting e workshop del progetto MedMobil

On March 5 and 6, 2014 , the Kick-off meeting of the ENPI project MED-MOBIL “Supportive international approach to increase and improve the mobility and exchange” took place at the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Shipping of Seville (Spain).

UNIMED is partner of the ENPI-funded project and the leader is the Chamber of Commerce of Seville.

The aim of this project is to facilitate the exchange of students, professionals and young entrepreneurs in the Mediterranean helping to improvemobility, exchanges, training and professionalism of the young.

MED-MOBIL envisages indeed to contribute to a sustainable and harmonious cooperation process and promote dialogue in the Mediterranean Sea Basin by supporting and improving mobility, exchanges, training and professionalism of young people, facilitating cultural, social and economic exchange.

Among the partners of the project, there is also one of the UNIMED associated universities, the University College of Applied Sciences of Gaza –UCAS.

Alongside the kick-off meeting, a workshop on “Best practices on mobility and exchange programmes” has been organized on March 6th morning.
The workshop’s aim was to compare the experiences of mobility cooperation projects in the Mediterranean both at EU level and Southern Mediterranean level in order to discuss how to improve existing programmes and to build up new ones.

Dr. Marcello Scalisi, UNIMED Executive Director, and Dr. Silvia Marchionne, International projects and networking, participated in the Kick-off meeting and the workshop of March 5-6th.
