Promoting the Sustainable Tourism initiatives in the Mediterranean is a very strategic and ambitious objective that we must tackle collectively. Last 16 and 17 March in Marseille (France), we launched our new Mediterranean Sustainable Tourism Community mobilised by BleuTourMed_C3, a three-year project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, within the Interreg Med Programme, which coordinates the various efforts of 14 Mediterranean projects on sustainable tourism.
The partnership is composed by Latin Arc (Lead Partner), Barcelona Provincial Council, Plan Bleu for the environment and development in the Mediterranean, UNIMED – Mediterranean Universities Union, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Adriatic Ionian Euroregion.

The BleuTourMed_C3 Sustainable Tourism Community seeks to promote and improve sustainable tourism offer in the Mediterranean region as a driver for economic development and as a tool to preserve the Mediterranean environment and cultural identity.
