About The Marc de Montalembert Prize:

Established in 2010, the Marc de Montalembert Foundation has been committed to fostering a deeper understanding of Mediterranean cultures, particularly among the region’s youth. In line with this mission, the Prix Marc de Montalembert was instituted in 2011, initially in collaboration with the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art (INHA) in Paris and, since 2021, in partnership with the École du Louvre.

The annual award, dedicated to art history research scholars of the Mediterranean region, is designed to facilitate the realization of original research projects contributing to the knowledge of the arts and humanities in the Mediterranean world.
