The University of Sfax organized, in collaboration with UNIMED, the seventh and last thematic training conference. The purpose of these conferences, organized throughout the life of the project, is to provide the staff of the universities with the necessary skills on the topics addressed and to open a dialogue and reinforce cooperation between the various stakeholders (HEIs, companies and political authorities) in the common challenge to increase the employability of young graduates.
The subject of the 7th conference was “Rethinking Education, What Skills for the Jobs of Tomorrow? “.
The conference took place in three round tables around the following sub-themes:
- “Analyzing and identifying the jobs of tomorrow: which skills match? “
- “University-enterprise collaboration in a changing world: digital transformation, new ways of organizing work, etc.”
- “Evolution of universal competences corresponding to the needs of future trades (soft skills, environmental skills, computational thinking, new digital knowledge)”
The partners of RESUME and other professionals, company representatives, local and national authorities intervened to share their experience and to analyze their good practices related to this theme.
