The MedFilm Festival is the first festival in Italy dedicated to the promotion of Mediterranean and European cinema. Established in 1995 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Cinema and the Barcelona Declaration and based on the conviction that diversity is a value, MedFilm Festival encourages relations, cooperation and the development of the film industry between neighbouring countries.

The 26th edition of the Festival will take place exceptionally online from November 9th to 15th with a rich programme of films, premieres and special events.

The exciting news of this edition is the establishment of a UNIMED jury who will take part in the Festival  to assign the UNIMED Award to the short film encouraging the most mutual knowledge and inter-cultural dialogue between different cultures of the Mediterranean.

The UNIMED jury gathers students from the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT), Link Campus University and La Sapienza University of Rome.

You can find here the full programme, and stay tuned to learn more on the winning film!
