Last June 8th, 2023 UNIMED Director, Marcello Scalisi and UNIMED Project Manager, Silvia Marchionne, met in Amman with the UNIMED associated universities based in Jordan.

The meeting was focused to strengthen cooperation opportunities within the network and to promote a national agenda for the Jordanian Higher Education system.

UNIMED activities and priorities were more deeply presented and discussed to give space for proposals to the University members and listen to their needs and priorities.

Ten Universities in Jordan are currently members of the UNIMED network and namely* Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Amman Arab University, Applied Science Private University, Aqaba University of Technology, Isra University, Middle East University, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, University of Jordan, University of Petra, University of Yarmouk and Zarqa University.
