On 5 May 2021, the University of Deusto (Bilbao) and the University of Pisa (UNIMED associated University) will host a dissemination event to promote among EU Higher Education Institutions’ networks and other stakeholders the holistic idea of internationalization of the project. They will also show the results achieved in developing and integrating the internationalization dimension into the structural and cultural components of Latin America.

The Erasmus + Capacity Building Higher Education project DHIP -Development of Higher Education Institutions’ Internationalization Policies aims to promote internationalization in Latin American universities with little or no experience. The event will show the first results of the project and in particular the methodology and the first version of the Guidelines for the internationalization of higher education institutions. These results – and at the same time the experience acquired by all the project partners – can also be useful for other universities in other parts of the world, especially for those suffering from a low level of internationalization. Furthermore they can also stimulate the birth or strengthening of future collaborations, especially in view of the new Erasmus+ program.

The event will see the participation of a representative of the DG EAC of the European Commission, who will explain the objectives of the new Erasmus Programme 2021-2027.
