The Guidebook “Enhancing Digital Education in the Mediterranean” has just been published!
Developed by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya – the first fully online university in the world created in 1994 – in collaboration with the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), this resource aims at supporting the digital transformation of educational institutions in the Mediterranean region, providing deeper insights and practical approaches to innovate and adapt education to the digital age.
Designed for academic leaders, administrators, faculty members, researchers, and educational stakeholders, the Guidebook serves as an extension of the 12-hour foundational training delivered through the webinars organised by UfM and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and whose recordings are available.
It includes eight sections divided into two parts. The first part addresses models of ICT integration in education, digital transformation of HEIs, essential leadership skills, and the role of quality assurance; the second one explores the design of digital learning models and the needs to foster inclusive education taking into account trends like micro-credentials, AI, learning analytics.
You can find the Guidebook here and watch the webinars on the UfM YouTube channel.
