The conference “Mobilité internationale en méditerranée : vecteur d’employabilité et de professionnalisation des carrières” organised by HOMERe France will take place on December 4, 2024, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Marseille, France. 

The event will address the critical challenges facing youth employability in the Mediterranean region, where youth unemployment averages 25%, significantly higher than the global rate.

This initiative highlights the gap between educational qualifications and labor market demands, particularly for graduates lacking practical, interpersonal, and intercultural skills. By promoting international internships, HOMERe aims to equip young Mediterranean talent with essential skills for professional integration in their home countries.

The conference will bring together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to analyze the impact of mobility on skills development, explore Euro-Mediterranean cooperation, and promote sustainable career pathways.
