UNESCO is organising a series of regional consultations in view of the 3rd Global UNESCO OER (Open Educational Resources) Congress – ’Digital Public Goods: Open Solutions for Inclusive Access to Knowledge” scheduled on November 19-20, 2024 in Dubai.

The consultation meeting for the Arab Region will be held on Monday 21 October 2024 (13.00 -14.30) on Zoom. You can register here.

This meeting is a preparatory event aiming to:

• Share sub-regional best practices and innovations in the implementation of the UNESCO 2019 Recommendation on OER;
• Present the Implementation Guidelines for the OER Recommendation; and
• Present and discuss the draft Outcome Document for the 3rd UNESCO World OER Congress that will focus on how OER can respond to the challenges and opportunities of emerging technologies.
