SALDAE

SALDAE aims to strengthen institutional capacities in the field of internationalization of Algerian universities through the transfer of know-how, management capacities and best practices for the proper functioning of the international cooperation service in vice-rectory for external exchanges and cooperation of the universities that are partners in the project. It aims to help Algerian higher education institutions to organize themselves into a network dedicated only to international relations, to provide relevant training for the concerned staff members, to immerse themselves in a fully developed and functional international cooperation structure, to produce guidebooks, and finally to promote dialogue at national level in order to raise awareness of the importance of the international cooperation service and develop strategies for its development.

Considered as one of the fundamental pillars of the strategy of Algerian Ministry of Higher Education, the international dimension of the sector is crucial to the promotion and development of research activities, training, technology transfer and innovation.

Through this project, the aim is to develop a culture of internationalization across national initiatives, and create a recognized national, regional and international network for internationalization and best practices transfer. These actions will be supported by the integration of new technologies in the management of cooperation activities in vice rectory for external exchanges of partner universities, as well as by the implementation of an effective communication structure that will ensure the visibility of the undertaken activities.
