Food & Water are two cross-cutting issues of increasing importance in the Mediterranean region. The UNIMED SubNetwork on Food & Water was launched with the purpose of bringing together research centres, university departments, faculties, academics scholars and independent researchers that work in the selected fields, in order to favour scientific cooperation, the exchange of experience and information, the strengthening of existing partnerships and the establishment of new collaborations.
The UNIMED SubNetwork on Food & Water organises its 3rd Thematic Webinar on the Valorisation of natural resources: the Moroccan case study to be held on December 16th at 3.30 pm CET via Zoom.
Climate change has had a huge impact on the environment, particularly in the Mediterranean region. This will become even more evident in the coming years. New strategies to valorise natural resources, such as bioresources and water are mandatory to overcome the problems that have arisen and are arising.
Morocco is not a standalone case. All Mediterranean countries deal with the same issues and face the same challenges in the 21st century. Therefore, we invite all Food & Water SN members to a common discussion to exchange ideas and experiences.
